Food as a social aggregator and source of pleasure is the essence of “Aggiungi Un Posto A Tavola”, the event that was organized for the NeMO Clinical Center and attracted many guests to Niguarda Hospital. This event was conceived with the aim of putting the spotlight on the issue of dysphagia thereby sensitizing public opinion, placing emphasis on the pleasure of taste and promoting a fund-raising activity in favor of the hospital.
Organized in the splendid setting of the main gallery of the Niguarda Cà Granda Hospital in Milan, “Aggiungi Un Posto A Tavola” aims to improve the quality of life for patients and their families, offering them tasty, quality dishes that are easy to swallow; in addition, prepared by great names in cooking, who became directly involved to give their valuable contribution to an ambitious and necessary project.
The proceeds collected contributed to the creation of the NeMO Clinical Research Center, a clinical trial center for research into new therapies against neuromuscular diseases.
